The WAVE Generator 1500 combines a Yuchai diesel engine, a Leroy-Somer alternator and a SmartGen controller in a sound-insulated enclosure. With a manufacturer-stated output of 1,500 kVA and a 1,500-litre fuel tank, it provides the basis for a power supply tailored to your production and infrastructure.

Power your WAVE production
The overview covers our five production models. For IC570 we assume 40 kW during operation; FD480 and FD450 use their maximum catalogue loads. The number that can actually operate will be confirmed for your configuration.
Calculation assumption: 1,500 kVA × 0.8 = 1,200 kW · less 20% planning reserve
960 kW remain as the machine budget in these examples. A power factor of 0.8 and the generator’s prime/standby ratings still require confirmation. The reserve is a chosen planning assumption.

BIG WAVE’s total electrical load is missing. The FD490’s preliminary 16.5 kW still needs to be reconciled with its heater and compressor figures. Both quantities remain pending.

This example leaves 120 kW in the machine budget; the 240 kW planning reserve remains untouched.
Vacuum pumps, chillers, nitrogen generators and ventilation belong in the full load schedule. First confirm whether each pump is already included in its machine’s catalogue load. BIGWAVE and machines without a reliable maximum load require individual calculations.
This kW calculation is not an operating approval. Starting currents, staggered starts, power factor and kVA, phase balance and generator output at the installation site must be checked before confirming capacity. A flat reserve does not replace these checks.

The Yuchai YC12VTD2000-D30 operates at 1,500 rpm. Equipment includes a water-cooled radiator, vibration dampers and a heavy-duty steel base frame.
The SmartGen HGM6120 controls the genset. A separate 3,200 A ATS option is available for automatic mains transfer.
A 1,500-litre tank, manual circuit breaker, silencer, two 12 V starter batteries with cables, and operating and maintenance manuals are included.
WAVE supports product selection and coordination with the manufacturer. Installation, electrical connection and commissioning are planned with qualified local contractors for each project.
